PROJECT | Henley Brook House – renovation and addition        COMPLETED | 2015

The existing house in the Swan Valley is a brick cottage built in the 1800s which had previously
undergone several additions. The current owners enlisted Sam Teoh Architects to oversee extensive
renovations and a large addition to the turn of the century home

Sam Teoh Architects documented and performed the contract administration, in addition to minimal
interior design work which maintained the character of the original cottage

The owners had an extensive antique collection which became the key features in the interior design

All interiors were designed to fit within the overall historic style of the house

Sam Teoh Architects designed modern conveniences incorporated with historic aesthetic

The warm material palette creates a homely atmosphere

Beautiful original features such as stained glass windows become the focus in the home
